Red Banana Plant - Ensente Maurelii - 6" Pot

Ensente is a genus of plants from the tropical regions of Africa and Asia which are sought after for their ability to push out twenty feet long leaves. They are often referred to as the false banana tree because they only look similar to a Musa tree and don't actually produce the banana fruit. These upright growers love to bush out and make great statement plants. This variety has a deep red foliage that grows very quickly when given the right growing conditions.
