ZZ 'Super Nova' - Black ZZ Collection - 5" Pot

Zamioculcas Zamiifolia is an upright growing Aroid with wand-like shoots and thick glossy leaves. This species is by far the easiest plant to grow and can take its fair share of neglect. It sports a gorgeous dark-tone to its foliage which has a very gothic feel and contrasts very well against white walls, yet looks just as lovely against wood grains.

ZZ Care Tips

Light Level: Low to Bright Indirect

Humidity: Low to High

Water: Allow to completely dry out between waterings.

Medium: Peat-based.

Plant healthy, leaves are not very dark in color

Unfortunately the leaves are not dark green/almost black. They are forest green. I have seen other Zz oscura plants that truly do look black. But otherwise it’s a healthy plant and I will keep it. Putting it in full sun and hoping new leaves will be darker
