Maren Planter

This piece was thrown with a smooth white clay and finished with a soft satin glaze. Along the base, a repeating arched line pattern was carved by hand, then filled in with pale washes of blush and robin’s egg blue. The decoration sits low, just above the foot, and wraps all the way around like a quiet rhythm. There's a slight flare at the lip and a gentle slope to the walls—enough to keep the form simple but not stiff. Made to hold a small to medium houseplant.
