The plant is beautiful but I think the ride over here is too long

The plant is beautiful but I think the ride over here is too long, she came in super droopy and dry. Maybe try a bit of cotton and cellophane on top to keep moisture.

This, as well as 2 others, came in stunning. However, within 1 week, they all died of root rot. I had not watered them as they were moist when they came in. When I checked the other roots, the other 3 I ordered where similar, but savable.
