Venus Flytrap - Dionaea Muscipula 'King Henry'
Venus Flytraps are infamous for their ability to trap, kill, and consume insects. Inside each trap are small hairs that can sense pray. When the sensory hairs are brushed or touched it triggers the trap to close. It then emits secretions which dissolve the insect and completely breaks down the body for food.
Carnivorous Plant Care Tips
Light Level: Direct sunlight for at least 6 hours per day.
Humidity: Medium
Water: Moist at all times. Let the VFT sit in a tray of water that goes up the pot around half of an inch. Distilled or rain water only.
Medium: Peat Moss and Perlite and/or Sphagnum Moss.

Great customer service
I’m giving 5 stars because I am brand new at buying carnivorous plants and I don’t have anything to compare this experience to, but it is much smaller than what I thought I was getting. Definitely not like the picture. A little care pamphlet would have been helpful. It’s birthday present for my daughter in May, so I am hoping it will grow a little before then.
It arrived in fine shape.... it is tiny, so I'm watching to see if it remains healthy and growing. Thanks for this unusual plant!
Arrived in poor condition
This was the replacement for the original that didn't survive the shipping. He is much happier.
