Hoya Cleminsorium ‘Short Leaf’ is a beautiful collector’s Hoya is native to the island of Borneo, where it grows as a climbing vine in montane rainforest environments. It produces firm, structured leaves that stay shorter than the long-leaf form but still show the species’ characteristic rigid, skeletal patterning. The stems tend to grow long and mostly unbranched, using aerial roots to anchor as they climb. When mature, it forms rounded clusters of flowers with cream-colored petals and a contrasting corona that can show red-brown tones.
